We're not moving to North Carolina. Well, at least not right now.
Yeah, yeah, I know: For several years we've been saying we're going to move
and then...bubkus. How is me saying this different than reality, you
ask? Well, we've made a conscious decision not to move, as opposed to
letting our natural lazy tendencies take over. Beth just started her new
Super Job (making Super Spreadsheets and yelling at Super Subordinates,
I guess) and since it's a big step up for her career-wise, we're going
to give it a year or so and then re-assess. If Super Job is going well
for her and looks to be a long-term thing, we may just end up moving
somewhere local. And if Super Job is a pain in the ass, then we might
decide to trek southward.
So, for now, you jerkys are stuck with us. |
