Here at Casa del Arnoldos, we use a pad of Post-It Notes on
top of the microwave as our grocery list. We used to write down just
general things on the list (milk, toilet paper, Jarts, etc.), but lately
we've started to be a little more specific (2% milk, Angel Soft 12-roll
pack, red Jarts, etc.). I guess we're being more specific (or at least I
am) because Beth has started to go grocery shopping by herself a bit
more often and I'm kind of picky about what we buy.
So anyway, Beth took it upon herself last week
to do our weekly shopping while out was out playing softball. She grabbed our list and headed off to
Bloom.
Here are a few of the items that were on the list:
- 1 white onion - 24-pack of water -
Garlic powder - 2 cloves of fresh garlic - Whole mushrooms - 1
9-volt battery - Jar of sliced jalapeņos - Coffee creamer -
Bounty Select-A-Size - Frozen chimichangas (chicken) - 6 Roma
tomatoes - Hefty kitchen trash bags (45 ct.)
When I got home from softball, Beth proudly
announced that not only did she go grocery shopping, but she also got
everything that was on the list. Well, everything except for one thing.
And what was that one thing?
She couldn't find any 19-volt batteries.
Maybe I shouldn't have been so specific. |
