The other night, Beth and I got onto
the subject of Major League pitchers and how they only pitch
once out of every five games. Beth said it was a crock
that they make so much money just to play every fifth game and
that they should be forced to pitch at least every third
game. I told her that their arms would fall off by July if
they did that.
And her response: "Well
then catchers
should only play every five games too because they throw the
ball just as much as the pitchers do during a game."
I think I need to get Beth out of the
house a little more.
