Someone
once told me that if you don't write on a regular basis, you will never
get better. After careful consideration of that statement, I tend
to think it's bullshit. I write almost every day (and not just
this hack-ish squalor) and the improvement has been close to zero. Or so
it seems to me.
In terms of talent, have I maxed out? That would really be
horrible. I can't think of anything worse than to remove all obstacles
on the road to your dream and then find out you only have $3 in gas
money.

I knew the Virginia Cavaliers (basketball) were going to stink this
year, I've pretty much ignored them most of the season. Of course,
they've overcome their odious play and have started to win lately. So,
being me, I've started to follow them again. It's the old Carrot On A
Stick, isn't it? As soon as they get me, they'll tank.
