Look how stupid we are. This is a conversation Beth and I had this morning concerning coffee (i.e., joe) and the making of said joe. Beth makes the coffee during the week and I make it on the weekends (i.e., Weekend Joe). And truth be told, this is a fairly normally conversation:

BETH: The joe I made this morning is pretty good. It's not great, but it's good.
GLENN: It hasn't been so great lately.
BETH: Yeah, I've been distracted with my joe-making.
GLENN: You'd better get it together. The joe-offs are coming up.
BETH: I know. I think I'm out of my slump though. It's kind of like I went 2-for-4 this morning.
GLENN: You need a couple more days of going 2-for-4 to really be out of your slump.
BETH: Don't worry, I will. Like I said, it's not great, but it's getting there.
GLENN: Is it like my Weekend Joe?
BETH: Pretty close.

This is half the reason why we look forward to softball season each year. We need more conversation topics.
