The other
day I read on a blog (a Rangers blog, probably) that Caps fans buy
Ovechkin jerseys to the exclusion of all other Caps players. Of course,
that's an exaggeration, but I do agree with it somewhat. I've noticed it
myself when I've been to the games. Ovechkin jerseys outnumber all other
players by a ratio of probably 2-1, if not more. The more I think about
it, I have to say that it is kinda pathetic in a way. Sure, Ovechkin is their best player,
but c'mon. Mike Green? Nicklas Backstrom? Alex Semin? Hello? Lots of
good young players to choose from there.
So, um, when Beth and I decided to buy jerseys, how come we both got Ovechkin jerseys?
