Non-Breaking News.

Updates, updates, updates...

* Somewhat surprisingly, my headache/TMJ/whatever is getting better. Rapidly. I don't know if it's the anti-inflammatory drugs I'm taking or focusing on keeping my jaw more relaxed, but I have been feeling a hell of a lot better in the last several days. It's not completely gone, but it isn't constantly there and consuming every waking minute of my existence. Good news, indeed. I hope it keeps up.

* Speaking of ailments, Beth's back has finally improved as well. Actually, she stopped having problems with it (for the most part) right around the time my head starting exploding. We work in shifts around here, apparently.

* This is going back a bit, but I don't think I ever mentioned it: Asian Bob is alive and well. Not long after I posted that blog entry, he reappeared in his backyard, puttering away at several different yardly projects. Must have been out of town, I guess.

* I have officially given up on the backyard. The grass came in kind of nicely in April, but it's reverted to it's old crappy half-dead self now. I didn't even fight it. Beth, however, is convinced that she can get grass to grow after patching a bare spot in the front yard, but I'm not buying it. Arnold Grass always--temptingly--starts out beautifully before withering away.

* Once again, we were pretty successful in the Midnight Madness softball tourney. After finishing 4th last year, we finished 3rd this year. That elusive first-place trophy should be ours in 2011.

* Although all of this business hasn't fully materialized yet, I have signed up 11 or 12 agents from that office so far and I'm getting another one or two more each month. 2011 seems about right for this as well.

* And finally, no, we haven't left yet. Stop asking.
